He landscape is the extent of land that can be seen from a site . It can be said that it is everything that enters the Visual field from a certain place. For example: “The landscape of Bariloche is spectacular”, “I want to go to a place that has a beautiful landscape, with mountains and lakes”, “The buildings built on the coast have ruined the landscape of the city”.

The landscape concept has different uses according to the discipline in question. All notions coincide in having the presence of a observer subject and of a observed object (the land). The landscape is formed by the natural characteristics of the environment and by human influence (constructions, pollution, etc.).

In this sense it is important to underline the existence of what is known as cultural landscapes. These are spaces that UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) establishes that deserve to be part of the list of World Heritage Sites.

In this way, we can establish that there are currently seven existing cultural landscapes:

Cultural landscape of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. In Germany it is where this space is made up of about 65 kilometers that run between the cities of Koblenz and Bingen am Rhein.

Sintra cultural landscape. One of the main attractions of Portugal is this place where not only a large number of plant species take center stage but also a surprising set of monuments, framed within what would be European romantic architecture.

Cultural landscape of Pico Island. In Portugal too, and specifically in the Las Azores archipelago, it is where the one that is known worldwide for its viticultural wealth is located.

Coffee cultural landscape. In Colombia is where this is framed that is inserted in the so-called Coffee Triangle.

Cultural landscape of Sukur. Up to Nigeria, specifically to the state of Adamawa, you have to move to know that corner that receives the category cited for its monuments and fields.

Champasak cultural landscape. Almost 40,000 hectares are what shape this corner of Laos that can basically be defined as a garden with more than 1,000 years old.

Cultural landscape of Mapungubwe. The savanna is the backbone of that place that is located in South Africa.

For the geography , the landscape is a area of the earth's surface that is born as a result of the interaction between various factors (biotic, abiotic and anthropic) and that has a visual reflection in space.

The landscape idea is also used in the art . Numerous plastic artists have dedicated themselves to representing large areas in graphic form.

He landscaping On the other hand, it is the art of designing parks and gardens. Landscapers, therefore, are dedicated to the creation of landscapes of great aesthetic beauty through the manipulation of certain resources.

The landscapes are also socio-territorial realities where the natural landscape is combined with the cultural landscape.

The term, finally, is also used symbolically to refer to a context or environment : “The landscape offered by downtown Buenos Aires at night is bleak”.
